Cococay Beach!

Our first stop on our cruise was at Cococay Bay, which is Royal Caribbean's private island! Nice, huh? :) We spent the morning and part of the afternoon there swimming in the ocean, ocean kayaking and playing in the sand!

Micah's first steps in the ocean! He wasn't real excited about the water, but didn't protest as long as he wasn't in too deep.

All tuckered out! Grandma finally got him to go to sleep and he had a nice nap!

Taking in the beautiful bahamian views! I absolutely LOVE the color of the water!

This Bat Ray was swimming around right up next to everyone! It was pretty cool! We also got to see a bunch of fish that were long a super skinny with long noses (or whatever you want to call them).

One of my favorite pictures of Micah from the trip...he's just so cute!

Micah's cousin Joshua having lots of fun floating in the ocean!
Hannah (other cousin) was enjoying the warm water too!

This pelican kept flying around and catching fish out of the water. It was pretty amazing to watch him swoop down from the sky and pick it up!

After the beach we headed back to the boat for showers and to get ready for our formal dinner night! It was a very relaxing day...minus the fact that I FRIED my legs and looked like a lobster for a couple days!

Cruise food...need I say more!?

This post is especially for my Dad! Cruises are known to have good food so when we went on ours, my dad was interested to know how good it actually was. Well, after 4 days (and a couple pounds) I have to admit that it is pretty darn good!
You can eat as much as you want (meaning if you want to try 2 appetizers and 2 entrees...go for it!). Your stomach is the limit! Each meal you choose between about 4 different appetizers, about 8 different entrees and about 5 different desserts. (and every night the menu is different!)

Here are a few of the delicious meals that we had on board.

This is actually Eric's dinner, but he thought it was worth the picture! I believe it was some sort of duck with a yummy sauce and veggies!
This was my dessert one night...a DELICIOUS chocolate souffle! Mmm...
One of my favorite things to eat is fruit, so when I saw this raspberry and mint "soup" I had to try it! It was SO good!
This was one of my dinners...i think maybe the last night? Anyway, it was a very yummy Gnocchi (sp) with ham and peas and a cheesy sauce!
This was my dinner the first night I think. Looks good, huh? it was!
One of many yummy desserts...are you hungry yet??
Another one of their delicious cold soups. This was a Strawberry bisque and it was one of my favorite things on the cruise...I like my fruit! :)
I actually think THIS was my dinner on the first night...not the other thing...all the food kinda ran together after a while! All I know was it was GOOD!
Every night they would come around with a tray of breads for you to choose from (again as much as you want). There were all kinds of yummy ones like pesto bread, bread with cranberries, sourdough and lots that I can't remember! this was actually a picture of the bread basket we got at lunch, but you get the idea at least! :)
It's chocolate...it's cake...need I say more!? This was one of my favorite desserts I think..and so pretty too!
This was my lunch (half eaten before I remember to take a picture) from the day we were on the ship all day. It was a VERY tasty empanada filled with all kinds of yumminess!
Fresh veggies anyone?? Again, as many as you want!
This was one of Eric's desserts. It was some kind of meringue with a strawberry sauce on top. It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! We often had to share desserts because we couldn't decide which ones to get! Rough life, huh? :)

There are more pictures, but this was at least a "taste" of the food! It's better in person! Just be prepared to gain a couple pounds...unless you have WAY more will-power than me! :)
