Sorry in advance for the lack of pictures, but I can't find my camera currently! :( I figured some of you might want an update on where we are!
We finally have all made it safely (despite a few minor mishaps) to Fresno! Eric has been here for about 3 weeks now and is really enjoying his job at Fresno Pacific University so far! Micah and I made the "big" move with the moving truck last week...thanks to my parents for driving us down and to both of our parents for helping us get moved in!
We were finally able to find a house as well! Our patience and trust in God's plan was definitely tested as we literally were able to get the house the day before Micah and I moved down! Thankfully He provided everything in perfect timing (as usual!). So far we really like the house, and have already managed to make quite a list of "changes" that we will do...eventually. Some are a little more necessary than others! We have a nice yard (needs a little work) that has a large lemon tree, which has provided us with LOTS of lemonade! We need to get creative to use them all! We also have a fig tree (recipes anyone?), what we think is an avocado tree and possibly and nectarine tree. Thanks to mom and dad, we also have a new orange and grapefruit tree! Are you all ready to come visit now?? :)
We have a lot to do in the house still (hang pictures, curtians, unpack all the random boxes, etc), but since I am currently on partial bed rest for another week, it will have to wait a little longer! So far Fresno has been about what we expected....HOT! It is very different from our little town of Pullman, but I'm sure we will adjust! We do miss all our friends there though!
When I am able to find my camera I will post some pictures of the house and recent events, but until then, this will have to suffice!
