We started our Easter weekend with an easter egg hunt at Kruegal Park with lots of friends! There were a lot of kids (even though they were split up by age) so I wasn't sure how Micah would do, but he was really excited and did great!
Micah and his best friend Emma before the egg hunt! It was a beautiful day, but a little chilly!
"Look what I found!" Micah called them "ee-er eggs". It didn't take him long to figure out what to do and start running around to find more!
It also didn't take him long to figure out what was in the eggs...he asked for "ni-ni" (candy) all day long! Overall we had a fun morning and he loved it! He was a little scared of the clown (understandable!) and the fire engine, but ever since then has been noticing every fire truck we see!
On Easter day, we spent the morning at church, and then later that afternoon went to a friends house for easter dinner! We had DELICIOUS food to eat and after dinner had a small easter egg hunt for Micah and Emma!
I'm ready!!
They both had it pretty well figured out at this point and it didn't take them too long to find all the eggs. Aren't they just adorable! :)
The guys hid a couple eggs a little harder for Micah, but it didn't take him long to find them with a little help.
It was a great afternoon with friends and we had beautiful weather so the kids were able to play outside! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter too!
