THREE!!

Micah,

You are THREE years old today! How did you get so big so quickly?? You have changed SO much in the past year that it is weird to look back to you at two and think that was only a year ago! You are so much fun and you make us laugh every day with all your silliness! You are very polite and love to compliment people. The other day you came up to me and said “you look beautiful mommy!” and you are always telling daddy and I how much you love us! You will randomly come up to me, give me a big hug and say “I love you too, mommy!” Makes my day every time!

            You definitely have a stubborn streak and have been testing our boundaries and trying to figure out what you can get away with! Haha! You tend to be a little tentative of new things and experiences, but once you get used to it you never look back! Today, on your birthday, you suddenly were very brave at the playground and tried ALL the slides and rope webs! You were so proud of yourself…and we were too! You are just growing up too fast! You are very compassionate towards others and love to help mommy and daddy with cleaning, cooking and whatever else you can! You are becoming a great big brother to Riley and it is so cute when he cries because you will go up to him and say “I’m here Riley…it’s ok!” and then you sing the abc’s to him! You love to listen to music, sing, and dance!

            Some of your favorite things right now are all vehicles, reading books, listening to GT, playing games with mommy and daddy, helping mommy cook, playing outside with your big blue truck, running, going to the park, Cars (the movie), playdoh, throwing balls and Frisbees and “nuggling” with mommy and daddy after naps!

            You love to read Bible stories every night and a couple months ago you asked Jesus to come into your heart! Mommy was with you and she and daddy were SO happy and excited! You were excited that there was a party in heaven for you! J

            We love you SO much, Micah, and can’t wait to see what God has in store for your life! We pray that you continue to grow in your love for Christ and others and that your compassion and love for everyone will stay with you! Happy birthday Micah!!
