- Update your husband as soon as he walks in the door on Micah's poop schedule. :)
- Have to take multiple trips from the house to the car almost every time you leave the house because you have too much to carry.
- Intensely study a poopy diaper (sometimes inches from your face because you don't have your contacts in) to determine the quality of poop.
- Smile and laugh at 4:30 in the morning because Micah's acting so cute!
- Determining if clothes are clean enough to wear by the number of times they've been spit-up on.
- Take a bath with the baby and not jump out of the bathtub screaming when he pees in it, but instead calmly finish the bath.
- Become a master of doing everything one-handed!
- Freak out friends who walk in the door because I'm sitting on the couch pumping.
- Take an extra 45 minutes to get out of church because everyone wants to see him
- Get peed on multiple times in a day, but since you brought everything but a personal change of clothes in the diaper bag, keep wearing the same clothes.
- (During Pregnancy) Become on a first-name basis, recognizable on site, with the receptionists at the doctor's office because you are there so often.
- Plan every outing around eating/pumping schedules
- Consider buying a second freezer because your's is so full of milk
- A good night's sleep suddenly means anything more than 4 hours in a row
- Become an expert on which diapers are best, and seriously hesitate to use any other brand than your's
- Take a shower at 4:00 in the morning after a really bad spitup
- Change your sheets at 4:00 in the morning for a same reason
- Laugh when you get pooped on...not once, but twice in a day
- Make a list of what you didn't expect about having a kid
- Have entire conversations spanning several minutes about nothing but baby poop.
- Realize that all advertisements about anything for your child are based around the principle that if you do not buy the product your child will end up stupid/injured/collicy/dead.
- Make a complete fool out of yourself in order to be rewarded with a smile....sometimes
- Pump his legs in an all out attempt to get the gas out! :)
- Sing "give me a burp, give me a burp!" to the tune of "Give me a break!" while burping Micah.
- Have "coo"versations more frequently than actual conversations.

Ahhh...the joys of parenthood :)
Oh it all sounds lovely! Even the poop! :) Isn't that funny? Well, love to you and Micah! He looks like so much fun and such a joy! Congratulations! Snuggle him lots! He will grow so fast! -Jenny
Very cute Molly. I remember Chad and I discussing the same things. Funny thing is it hasn't changed too much yet. At the women's retreat this year our room stayed up way too late and talked for about and hour or so about our kids pooping and potty training habits. HAHAH.
Great list! And so true!!
Well I guess I will be having poop conversations with you in 6 months!Oh the things I have to look forward to!
This was so cute Molly and so definitely true! You guys are great parents! And you have the best little baby...he is happy, good and has awesome smiles.
