Animal Kingdom

On our second day in Disney World we visited Animal Kingdom! The first "ride" we took was the Jungle Safari, which is probably a 20 minute ride through the "jungle" on a jeep to see all the animals! It was pretty cool! :)

Here is one of the rhinos we saw. We saw quite a few, even some white rhinos!

I was excited to see the giraffes! I think they are such cool animals and such pretty colors!

Here are some of the crocodiles! Most of them were sunning, but this one was swimmin' around!

Baby elephant! It was so cute! The mommy wasn't far off, but we got a pretty good look at them!

The thing I was most excited about seeing was the lions...don't ask me why, because the scare me to death...but they are so cool! This was the best look we got, but it was pretty hot outside so we weren't too surprised.

After the safari we walked around the rest of the park and did a few other rides. The kids had fun on this one...though Micah was a little nervous according to Eric. :) We also went on the roller coaster (everest something), but didn't get any pics of it. It was NOT my favorite as it shot you backwards in the dark near the beginning which just made me sick for the rest of the ride. Oh well...

That night we ate at the Rainforest Cafe, which i thought was really cool! The whole place is decorated like a rainforest (complete with thunder storms every 20 min. and lots of animal noises) and had all kinds of animals...fake of course. There were some HUGE fish tanks though that all kinds of tropical fish in them that Micah loved!
